Lorisa is a seasoned entertainment industry executive with a remarkable track record across content development, production, and exhibition. As former VP of Content Strategy at BET Networks, she greenlit 85+ films and series and launched BET's movie division.
She is a published novelist (Benita Renee Jenkins thriller series, Book 3 in progress), screenwriter, and educator who teaches screenwriting at Reel Sisters at BRIC in Brooklyn.
